The Playroom

Ugh, I really wish I could finish the girls' playroom! I'm tired of our living room look like the aftermath of a baby tornado. Seriously, we have two swings, two bouncy chairs, two boppy pillows, two bumbos, two activity mats, an exersaucer, jumperoo and toys galore spread throughout the room. The room has been painted (a nice hot pink shade) and I just ordered an area rug, which should be here next week. All that's left is getting rid of a full size bed, nightstand and desk. Any takers? I might just post these on Craigslist.

And now I'm hooked on Etsy looking for some super cool wall decals!

I promise to have some new pictures of the girls soon. My 8th grade team is throwing me a baby shower at school tomorrow, and the girls are getting to meet all the other RMS babies (3 girls and 1 boy).

EDIT: The picture is NOT my playroom! It's just the stock photo for the cool rug. I will post pics of the playroom this weekend, if we can get rid of that darn furniture!!

EDIT AGAIN: So I've found some wall decals on Etsy that I think I am going to get. The alphabet is a steal at $15! I think I'll get that in white. Then I'm going to get 5 sets of the dots in the other 5 colors. The pink background is about the color of the wall. Talk about a vibrant playroom!

I also have this clock that Bryan bought for my birthday (mine is a bit different) that I can put either pics of the girls in, or funky scrapbooking paper.

  4. Love the ABC decals! It is amazing that you think it is just something to decorate the walls, literally before you know it, the girls will know so many letters! We just have the ABC letter decals from Target (they were $10 I think) and they know most of them now. Another idea is to use a section of the wall for a chalkboard (obviously not right now, but in the next year they will love it). It is simple- two coats of Valspar Matte paint (at Lowe's) any color and you have an instant chalkboard. Trust me, that saves the walls big time when you have double doodlers :)

  10. Jenny,

Don't know if you've done this before or not, but since you've got double the diapers, and I assume you're using disposable, diapers.com does free shipping on orders over 49$ and if you use my code, JILL9797 then you get $10 off your first order. I ordered them on a thursday afternoon and got them on friday before. might save you some room in your shopping cart. i use luvs at nighttime with her and the price was identical/a half a cent cheaper per diaper. don't know about the other brands, because they didnt work for me.
