Knocking on Wood

The girls have been sleeping from 8:00 PM until 7:30 AM (Natalie) and 8:30 AM (Audrey)for the past four days! I have knocked on every piece of wood around me, my fingers are crossed, but I really think this is it. I was able to get the girls on a nice, healthy routine over Spring Break, a lot of stress is out of the house, and they are taking 5oz at each feeding. They are both sleeping in their cribs, no putting them in the swing first to get them sleepy. It is AMAZING! I have plenty of time in the evening to cook dinner, pick up a little, and then either watch TV, read or blog. I still wake up around 2 or 3, just because I'm so used to it, but am able to quickly fall back asleep.

  1. Congratulations! One of our twins has been a terrific sleeper since she was a month old, but it's been such a struggle with the other. Emma's finally only waking once a night now. I can't believe how much energy I have during the day now that I'm sleeping regularly again!

  2. Hooray to sleeping babies! It took me MONTHS to be able to sleep through the night myself after my boys stopped waking up!

  3. Lucky you! Joseph is still waking up two or three times a night; what is your secret?!?! I love the pictures of the girls in their Easter dresses; they are beautiful!! Any advice on how to get Joseph to STTN will be very helpful; I'm really having a hard time.

We've been working on getting her to sooth her self to sleep and stay asleep! She still wakes up around 2 then goes back to sleep and then starts eating again around 4:30. Any tips?
