great idea! I've never purchased from Etsy - I always get so overwhelmed when I go to the site - I agree it would be nice to go to a store to help out other "friends"

I love Etsy as well! I feel good not only buying from people I "know" but also from small shops. It's nice to know that for the most part my purchase isn't mass produced. I highlight my favorite Etsy stores ever Tuesday in my blog. Hop over and check it out!
