While I was sorting clothes, I saw this. Say hello to my little friend...
Or rather, the big ass spider hanging outside of Natalie's window. I thought it was INside the house and screamed. When I realized I was safe behind glass, I decided to take a picture of it. The span of it's legs is wider than my hand. What kind of monster is this...anyone know?
And finally, this is what $15 bought me. 2 Carter's rompers ($1.50) and 2 polos ($1) from Sears, 6 cotton dresses from Wal-mart ($1 each) and a pair of brand new Ann Taylor Loft wedges from a consingment store ($4).

Oh my gosh! I am going to have nightmares about that spider for at least a week.
ReplyDeleteargh! Our WalMart refuses to put htings down below $3 for some reason. However we did hit JC Penney this past weekend and got winter clothes half off and summer clothes for next year for 2.39/apiece. Much cheaper than online.
ReplyDeleteIt's a writing spider, like in Charlotte's Web. They are actually really cool (or at least as cool as a spider can get)...that white zig zag line going down the web is what it wrote. :)
ReplyDeleteI HATE spiders.. and I especially hate seeing spider bites in the ER... ewwww!!
ReplyDeleteI would sell all those clothes on Ebay.. you will get a good chunk of change back. I got $175 for a 50 pc lot of Serenity's clothes!
ANd great finds.. I love the shoes!
Im generally a lurker around this blog but I will come out to say....
ReplyDeletethat is a generic "garden" spider. they are BIG, one of them scared the bejeebies out of my husband and I on vacation a few years back by making its freaking HUGE web in the rafters under the beach house right by our car. We thought it was fake at first. Asked around and was told by a local that they are all over the place where we were and that they are harmless. Except for the heart attacks that they may cause.
I'm also a lurker, but had to come out of lurkdown to say that that spider made me NAUSEAS. It's actually beautiful, but the thought of that thing being anywhere near me or my kids makes me nauseas.
ReplyDeleteScary spider, we had one similar to that over in the corner of our house. It freaked me out and I made the hubby get it down. I love the Wal-Mart mark down and I have had a lot of luck with reselling Avery's clothes on e-bay. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteWow, you found a great deal.
ReplyDeleteNot to scare ya - but since we live by the water we have lots of really cool spiders (mostly in the fall I notice them more)we had this one spin a web from our bedroom window down to the first floor and attach itself to our deck and it had to be the size of a quarter, at least. Very cool!!! to look at as long as he stayed there LOL
ReplyDeleteP.S Love the shoes!
ReplyDeleteDang girl! I wish I could go shopping with you! You find awesome deals!
