
From 1994-2001, I travelled all around our country conducting Vacation Bible Schools for children in low income areas - and stopping by to see some cool places. During our summers, we would do over 500 hours of community service - including serving at soup kitchens, working at our local American Leprosy Mission, being camp counselors, and any odds and ends job that needed to be done. In my years as a youth, I learned to hurricane strap a roof and tile a floor! Here are some pictures from my middle/high school years:

ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing experience! I loved doing VBS at my own church, I can only imagine how awesome it would be be to give that gift to others across the USA.
