Some Updates

Somehow I forgot to do Wish List Wednesday yesterday. Ooops! I have a lot of things on my plate right now, and can't seem to clear them off fast enough. It also doesn't help that I may or may not have become slightly (ok, highly) addicted to the silly game FarmVille on Facebook.

I really need to get on the ball planning the girls' birthday. I have a little over one month until my babies are no longer babies . I need to figure out what time to have their party on Saturday, October 3 (any suggestions??), what food to serve, where to fit 25 or so people and so much more.

Here is a mock up of the invites that my wonderful friend Brook created (she is trying to start an etsy store):

Here is an applique I found on etsy for $3 - I'm thinking of ironing it on a onesie or plain t shirt since I don't want them getting cake on their super cute lion dresses!

I do have this super fun looking bounce house that I got on clearance from Target a few weeks ago:

  1. I'm always for planning parties/showers at a time that doesn't require you to serve a full meal. 2-4 works for me!

  2. Yup, no full meal deal, just after an afternoon nap, whenever that would be, and shoot for an hour of party time and let people decide when to leave after that. Assuming grandparents will want to stay longer and some of the others will want to sneak out and get about the rest of their Saturdays! And they will ALWAYS be your babies.

  3. I'm saying the 2-4 time frame too- We do that with our older kids already for their birthdays- and I'm planning something like that for Lydia's first birthday in January- Then I'm planning on just things like finger foods and munchies since it's "between" meals.. Then the cake and icecream :)
Love the invites and the applique!!!
They should have alot of fun with that bounce house too!!

  4. We did our party at 11 and that worked well for the twins and our friends' babies. We did a brunch thing for food.

I agree with you about FB farmville, I have to stay off of FB because I don't get anything done anymore.
Love ya, kisses to the girls and hugs to you and Brian- Aunt Robin
