My husband is from DC and roots for the Redskins, while I am a born and raised Giants fan! I have successfully converted him to a Mets fan and I'm working on making him a Rangers fan as well!
We aren't divided in our house. We are both fans of all of the Philadelphia sports teams.
Growing up my Gradparents were divided. My Grandmother was a die hard Eagles fan and my Grandfather a Cowboys fan. When they played each other they watched in seperate rooms. And if the Cowboys lost, you didn't bother to call their house because my Grandfather wasn't going to answer!! I miss those days :(
I am a steelers fan, husband is a bengals fan. our relatives say, that once we have kids, they will end up to be Browns fans just to piss us both off! :) there is a cute pic on my blog in the right column of Pat and I at a Bengals vs. Steelers game! :)
Ashely, we have the same matchup. It's divided Pittsburgh (me) and Cincinnati (him) for baseball, too. I told him I can still cheer for the Bengals when they're not playing the Steelers - no reason I can't pick a winner and a loser ;-)
My husband is a die-hard Buckeyes fan. When we got together I was a Longhorn fan for football and Tarheels for basketball. He wasn't having that. Haha. He said I had to convert because we were moving to Ohio, so I gave up my 2 teams and now he has to be a Carolina fan for the NFL. We compromised. :)

ReplyDeleteOh yea. I'm a huge Steelers fan and the hubs roots Eagles. It can be a little tense at times!
ReplyDeleteI remember that photo..
ReplyDeleteNo house divided here unless you count the fact that my husband is the only straight man on Earth who doesnt watch sports!
GO STEELERS!!!
