Wear Pink Tomorrow!
If you read my blog earlier this week, then you know that fellow Mom of Multiples Brook just lost her sweet baby girls, Sydney and Carynne. They suffered from Spinal Muscular Atrophy, type 1. Their funerals are tomorrow, which is also the day they would be six months old.
Let's pay tribute to these sweet, beautiful girls by wearing pink tomorrow. A pink scarf, pink socks, a pink shirt. Whatever you have, wear it! If you send me your picture I will post it on my blog. Just post the link to it in the comments section.
And while we're at it, let's help try to find a cure for SMA by signing the Petition to Cure SMA. SMA is the number one genetic killer of children under the age of 2.

Giggling Girls
This is the cutest video of the girls! I was pulling Natalie to "kiss" Audrey, and Audrey thought it was the funniest thing ever. So laughed so hard she got the hiccups by the time we grabbed the camera to record!

I Need Your Help!
Sooo, I need your help!
We have started the girls on rice cereal, but really, I'm clueless on where to go now. Right now we give the girls their cereal around 5:30 PM. That way Bryan and I get to do meal time with them, instead of my mom who watches them while we are at work. So here are my questions to you
1. What did you give your little one as their first fruit/veggie?
2. How many times daily do you feed solids?
3. What are typical meals like for your baby?
4. How do you keep food out of their ears? Just kidding :)

So Heartbreaking...
Some of you may remember my post last month about the twin girls, Sydney and Carynne, who were diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder (read here for more).
Sadly, little Carynne lost her battle yesterday. This has just happened way too quickly. Please keep this family in your prayers. You can share your condolences on their blog: http://sweetgirlies.blogspot.com/.

Next Time I'll Knock on Wood
This past weekend, I was laying in bed next to Bryan and I told him I feel really lucky that I haven't been sick since winter of 2007. This is especially amazing because I am a middle school teacher. He reminded me that while pregnant, I had a great immune system. I should have knocked on wood...
My nose is dripping like a faucet, it's raw from tissue, my head is throbbing, I'm dizzy and my tummy hurts. UGH.
