Sickness

Yesterday, I took the girls to their pediatrician. Audrey had been sounding hoarse (even though she was still yelling like a banshee), and Natalie's pinky toe was red and swollen. Turns out Audrey has a tummy virus and we got an oral antibiotic for Natalie to take for her toe.

The good news about Audrey being sick is that she slept from 8:00PM until 6:30AM! However, Natalie didn't want to go to bed last night until 10:00. I think she just wanted extra mommy and daddy time, so she stayed up and cuddled with us. I'll be the first to admit that the squeaky wheel gets the oil - and that squeaky wheel is Audrey. We are always sure to make extra time for Nanerpuss, though. She is such a sweet, happy and content baby.

Oh, and even though it wasn't their official 6 month appointment, Natalie weighs 14lbs .5oz and Audrey weighs 13lbs 15oz. They are getting bigger every day!

So I guess the girls knew I was getting up a little earlier this morning so I could actually do my hair (you know, instead of just throwing some goop in it and going). I tried to put them in their new play pen, but little Miss Audrey wasn't having it. She wanted to watch mommy do her hair.

One of my online friends, 'Schmoodle', lost her boy/girl twins Noah and Taliah this time last year at 23 weeks.

The Doodles' story has touched many, many people. They really will never be forgotten.

Where's Audrey?

So I was working on a blog post full of pictures for today, when I looked at the play mat and asked, "Where's Audrey?".

And then I heard her giggling, from UNDER my recliner chair. I guess she just wanted to hang out with mommy.

Morals of the story - my child has super stealth Ninja skills, and always check under the recliner before closing.

Natalie, oblivious to the missing baby:

"What? I don't know where she went!"

New Design

Soo...I have a question. Does the background design look too busy? I can't decide if I want to change it or not.

Edit: I changed the background from plaid to pink. I think it was just a little bit too busy. And for those who have asked how I make my backgrounds - I use www.scrapblog.com. I make the header using that website, save to my computer and then upload here on blogger. For the backgrounds, I usually just use a plain color or scrapblog background I like. Hope that helps!

Physical Therapy Appointment

I took Audrey to her physical therapist appointment today. Basically, they needed to evaluate her large noggin. The therapist said she has moderate Brachycephaly and Torticollis. She showed me several exercises to do with Audrey daily, in the hopes she won't need to wear a helmet. We go next month to remeasure her head. The therapist also said her motor skills rival those of a 7-8 month old! And to think they count her as only a 4 month old (weight, prematurity, twin factor)! And here she is, showing off her rolling. She had been right next to Natalie!

When we came home, the girls' had baby Riley over to visit. Last time little Riley was only half the size of the girls - and it looks like she is quickly catching up.
