Etsy Finds

I go through periods of time where I completely forget Etsy even exists - and then, like today, I scour for hours on end finding things to add to my "want" list!

Like super adorable photo props for this new baby.

Or a new necklace with my monogram - or a new mother's necklace with all the children on it.

24 Weeks

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 24 Weeks

Size of baby: Massive? For some reason, The Bump has the same pictures this week as I had last week. However, my mom said I look the same size now that I did when I delivered the twins...at almost freaking 37 weeks.

Total Weight Gain/Loss: I'm around +8/9 pounds now.

Maternity Clothes: Some of my non-maternity clothes have finally gotten too small. Though I still maintain that I'll be able to wear my Junior's size tunics longer than my regular maternity clothes.

Gender: Boy - almost to the point of monogramming name stuff. Going to wait a few more weeks.

Movement: Yes, the girls like feeling him.

Sleep: Fairly good this week.

What I miss: Summer vacation. Oh wait, that's not baby related :)

Cravings: Home cooking. On the slate for this week? Chili, Chicken Pot Pie, Pot Roast and Shepherd's Pie.

Symptoms: Really itchy belly.

Best moment this week: Getting to viability without a single hospital trip! By this point with the girls, I'd had about 3 L&D trips, a rescue cerclage and an almost month long hospital stay.

And I totally need to clean my mirror!

Furniture Shopping

Eddie & I have spent the day furniture shopping. Now that we've redone the floors, we'd like to redo the rest of the living room as well. Our current set up looks like this:

While it's nice, and the furniture is less than 5 years old, it's time for a change. We'd also like more seating room. I bought the chaise lounge back when I was single and thought it was so awesome - except it's so impracticable. Only one person can really sit on it comfortably.

So, we've looked at sectionals, and couches & loveseats. We've found a set that is so comfortable, and will be practical. The love seat has dual rockers that recline and a console in the middle. The couch has two reclining seats as well. We'll probably add an accent chair later on. The plans are to get rid of the massive TV console (which I do love), and mount the TV above the fireplace that is never used (gas is expensive, yo). I found a nice shelf that will hold our TV equipment that won't take up much horizontal space. We hope to have everything done before October - so stay tuned!

Jumpy Jump Jump

The girls had a blast playing together after dinner last night. I walked into Natalie's room after picking up the living room a little bit, and found that they had lifted the mattress off the toddler bed, and were using it as a trampoline. Let me tell y'all, three little girls working together could probably do the same amount of work as a grown man!

Or an alligator - which is apparently Natalie's new favorite animal. She was showing me how they chomp chomp.

Show Us Your Life - Baby Shower

You know what? I never actually blogged about my baby shower that I had with the girls THREE years ago! And since Kelly's Korner is doing a SUYL on baby showers, I figured I'd blog about mine...finally!

These were the super cute invitations and games that were made for the shower

The adorable diaper cake centerpiece

And finally some pictures my dad took of the shower. It was held at an English Tea Room here in Greenville. They had the most amazing cucumber tea sandwiches!

Deal Alert

I finally got around to ordering a few things for all the girls (and a few things for baby boy) for this fall. I thought I'd pass along the deals to y'all. I was able to buy all of this (some in duplicates) for under $100.

Carter's has 50% off most of their stuff, plus an extra 25% coupon code FRIENDSHIP. Also, if you're like me and didn't know, you can also shop at Osh Kosh at the same time and it's only one shipping charge of $6. Osh Kosh has t-shirts buy one, get two free.

I almost never buy Tea Collection unless I find it locally off season marked down WAY down - but I was sent a first time buyer's coupon for $25 a $50 purchase. Here's the link if y'all are interested. They have some adorable clothing, and it really withstands wear & tear. Click HERE for the code.

Sisterly Love

My camera settings were off, but I still love these pictures!
