New Room Ideas

We finally ordered the girls new beds, and they'll be in on Friday. It took us forever to decide what we want, but we ultimately went with beds from Rooms to Go. They are sturdy, great quality, and should hopefully last us for years to come. We'll be putting all 3 girls in the larger kid bedroom. They have a huge closet, and luckily enough - the beds have excellent storage built in them. Next weekend, our whole goal is to put together both of the kid bedrooms. The girls will be easy - the company installs the beds, and I'll just need to re-arrange some toys (and donate a lot!). The paint on the walls is green, and both Audrey & Natalie's bedding matches that. I took Emma to Target, and she picked out a beautiful pink & green quilt set to match, as well. I have art work galore, so they are all set.

But Corbin's room, I'm starting from scratch. We already have furniture, so I needed to get decor ideas. I'd found a cute blue/green/brown/orange sheet set, and was going to put owls on the wall. And then I realized - I'd already done that with the girls' original nursery. Why would I do it again?

So I started browsing Etsy, and fell in love with the idea of a Star Wars nursery. It's going to be the most awesome thing in this galaxy. I'm so excited to get started on it! Here are a few things I've saved as ideas. I don't want to go completely overboard, and I want something that's pretty fresh & modern.

(If any of y'all sell vinyl wall things, or know of a great etsy shop - point me in the right direction!)

  2. Cute idea. My friend posted this on facebook a few weeks ago. Maybe you already found it, but I thought I would pass it along just in case. It comes with a hilarious video :-)
