Go figure, when I finally break the 1,300 mark for Google Friend Connect buddies, Google announces that it will discontinue GFC and Google Reader as of July 1, 2013. I flipping hate change, and was worried for a few minutes how I was going to keep up with all of my friends' blogs. Then I remembered I had signed up for bloglovin' a while back. It's like Google Reader, but a bit more awesome.
And don't worry about losing all of the blogs you currently follow. All you have to do is sign up for free at bloglovin' (and you don't even have to be a blogger to do so), and underneath your settings, you can import all of your Google Reader blogs. Piece of cake.
I've added my bloglovin' social media icon up at the top (it looks like a plus sign), and I'm sure you're going to see them on a lot of your favorite blogs in the next few weeks. So go ahead and click the pic below to follow me on bloglovin'. If you have your blog on there, leave the link in the comments and I'll add it.

I could be wrong (I can't keep up with everything) but it was my understanding that GFC closed on March 1st for non-blogging sites. Only Google Reader will be closing in a few months. So not all will be lost.
